Michigan? Wow. Must be doubly tough since you're surrounded by big time winning programs like Michigan and Michigan State.......I see the Wolverines are cleaning up in recruiting as usual. What else is new, right?

Yeah, it must be nice being a UM fan. Michigan's name alone brings recruits in...Lloyd Carr has about as much personality as a cinder block so I can't believe he's all that when it comes to recruiting. Personally, I think the helmets, tradition and that gargantuan stadium do most of the recruting work in Ann Arbor.

MSU is the party school of the two and the one I root for...they get their share but it's usually the scraps left after U-M takes what they want first. Kind of like what South Carolina will do to Clem's son in a couple years, if not this year!

It would be a dream come true for me if Spurrier were to lift us up to 8-3, 9-2 range next year where we go on to beat the Wolverines in a bowl game. Funny how that never seemed a possibility before....or is that not funny? :D

Funny....I always pull for Michigan State over Michigan too.

I agree with you. I think tradition alone sells Michigan to recruits. Just like USC, Oklahoma, Nebraska, FSU, Miami, Ohio State, etc. They can guarantee a kid a legit shot at the NFL, as well.

I actually think we could've beaten Michigan in 2001 had we gone to the Citrus. Things didn't work out, though, and we had to play OSU again.

Still remember our win in Ann Arbor in 1980. A sweet moment in a season where we collapsed down the stretch. (Sound familiar??)

What makes me nervous about this game is the fact that George O Leary is on the other side. I bet he will have a few tricks up his sleeve. However with the talent we have and are bringing in will just be too much for C Florida to handle in the trenches.

It's awesome that USC has been granted the chance to open the 2005 college football season. I mean, the first game of the entire season, it's gonna be nice to show the nation what we are made of. GO COCKS!! Oh, and i usually pull for the spartans too. And I am from SC. Weird.

Being a Gamecock in Michigan hard? Bah! I am a Gamecock, in the Navy, stationed in Harrisburg, PA right next to Penn State University! I have to deal with all these Nittany Lion Fans. They keep telling me this is the year of the Lions......I have talked so much about the Gamecocks since I have been here (March 2004) that some of have grown a little interested in the Gamecocks and the Palmetto Flag on the front of my Truck. Although the fight with Clempsux hurt our rep a little. I promise them an exciting year of Gamecock Football in 2005, while Joe Pa continues his losses!

You must be lovin' life with the Knowledge Timmons story...the recruit that supposedly committed to Penn State who's now thinking of making an 11th hour switch to USC. Three stars and a 4.31 40-yard dash doesn't sound too shabby on the day before NSD, bay-bee!
