I wouldn't criticize these kids just yet. Ford just committed to Bama tonight. Davis was told by Shula that they had other backs higher on their board (see Ford and Upchurch) and we may still get Upchurch, who the coaches rate as their #1 back. I think Simpson will end up at UVA.

I've always loved the "ole ball coach' wherever he coaches. He's a kinda of guy that you love to hate! But man he is a winner. i wish ms had some of ss in him. Speaking of ford do not get too excited yea we need a back but, if ss wined and dined him and then cut him loose he must have seen something in his chance to qualify that turned him off!

One player that I would say "Thanks, but no thanks" while giving him the bird is Mike Davis. Now if he isn't a cocky little punk? He goes around talking trash about SC schools and what is he doing? Visiting USC and Clemson because no one other than Kentucky is interested in this kid anymore. He has a serious "Holier than thou" attitude.

As far as Brandyn Young is considered? Bring him in. :D

It's normal for most coaches to sign 5-10 over their limit. That gives them "wiggle" room with signing the non-qualifiers. :D

The general consensus is Bama will sign 30-31. They will then wait and see who qualifies and who doesn't. They have already told several of the kids that they have conditional offers and they will grey shirt if more than 25 qualify.
