it is reported he may commit next weekend to USC. This is not official! But according to a source his roomate said all he could talk about was the Gamecocks. Man am I a happy fella!

Yeah...my money would be on USC. Though it seems Auburn may have the last crack at him. I've watched some of his video reels....not bad. He doesn't have that really blazing speed you'd like to have in that second-tier back (rr = 5.8), but he's got good feet, nice balance, uses his blocks well, doesn't second-guess his field decisions, and he's difficult to bring down. Nice jump-lateral movement, too. I saw lots of kids getting to him, but he pushed right through their arm tackles...as well he should. If he can get just a bit faster (articles have him at 4.37, which is probably hand timed...he's listed near 4.5) and work on developing his foot quickness, he's gonna be a very nice player for you guys. He's also got one of the best straight-arms I've seen in this class.

No offer from UF or Ohio State....from what I've read, USC leads slightly over Bama. MSU is in the rear-view mirror.

Ford is now a heavy Bama lean....looks much less good for USC at this point.

USC has backed off of him a little because of his academics. :D

trust me. USC will get him if his SAT scores improve maybe just slightly. That is the only reason he has not commited to USC. I am not sur how true that Bama lean is. I still have my $20 bucks on the table that says we get him.

This guy is worse or as bad as upchurch these guys play the system and whatever newspaper is talking they tell them just the opposite of what they want to hear!
