Whatever happened to the NCAA punishing South Carolina. Last i heard they were still investigating in to Derek Watson and possible violations dealing with his grades. Whatever happened to that they been investigating for 2 years or so and all i want to know is if they are gonna punish S. Carolina or not? personally i hope not but the onfield fight and the stealing of the laptops isn't really helpin them much. So if any of yall know anything about it i'd appreciate your input.

The NCAA has been investigating Derek Watson since he was a freshman at USC. It's bogus. Five years now and what do they have? Nada!

They aren't going to find anything because there's nothing to find.

I think the fact that Watson was kicked off the team will also help us in their investigation because that shows that we took it upon ourselves to do the right thing. They need to hurry up and make a decision. Even if they do find violations they won't be severe ones. They should either hand out a punishment or drop the case.

Well...I don't think they are going to find anything anyways. It's not like USC has a reputation of breaking NCAA rules.

USC may not but there were whispers about Holtz skirting the rules just before he left Notre Dame....not that I think USC did anything wrong with Watson or anything. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I think that story about Holtz at ND was made because they were forcing him out and they didn't want the negative PR. I don't think any violations were made.
