Oklahoma was thoroughly embarassed. Auburn may not have been able to beat USC... they are legitimate... but Auburn does have a running game, and Auburn does have a pass defense, and Auburn does have a run defense. Auburn would have given USC a much better game than OK did. And, did you notice that the perpetual Whiner, Stoops, could not bring himself to simply say they were whipped? To me, Stoops is pathetic.

I agree. I think that Southern Cal probably would have beatin Auburn, but this is the repeat embarrassment of Oklahoma in the MNC game. It doesn't help the situation when the president of the BCS is the Big XII Commissioner.

See everyone? Not every team in the Pac-10 is over-rated....;)

The championship game in college has turned into nothing more than the super bowl. If that was a regular season game the turnovers wouldn't have freaked OU out near as much. Yet, the better team won.

Wait a min..Oklahoma rushed for over 2000 yards this season. They do have a running game. Jason White put up bigger numbers than he did last year..they do have a passing game. The defense was aggressive and brutal all season. Okla does have a defense.
To say that Auburn could have done better..I just don't know about that.

Given how poorly Oklahoma performed, it opens the door to "What if's".

Yes I agree...that there are plenty "What if's" however to me it looked like USC came ready to play as if they were playing against more than the other team on the field. They were playing against all the critics that doubted them. I don't think Okla is a bad team..they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I can't stand USC and I am one of the fans that thought for sure they were going to be kicked around. That didn't happen.
