Thats not a surprise...seems like everytime UGA gets some read studs, they always leave a year early when they would be in their prime. Im a little more worried about have Shockley as a starter than I am about losing Odell and Thomas. I think we can fill in the holes on our defense, but we need Shockley to vastly improve. His outting against Georgia Tech was none to impressive. Hopefully Mark Richt can scheme the offense to cater to Shockley a little more than they have with Greene at QB. I guess we will find out in about 6 or 7 months.

In the end, this will be a good thing for UGA.

Neither men could cover at all for UGA. Tony Taylor is the real football captain of the defense and it will show with the new speed next year.
