Sweet Home Alabama. That's what they'd play over the speakers at Seahawk Stadium every time Shaun Alexander got a big run or a touchdown. He's been a work horse. And yesterday on the last offensive possession on the one yard line w/ Alexander one yard away from the rushing title they call a QB sneak. Its a contract year. The Dolphins are not getting Ricky Williams back. I think Alexander will be playing for Coach Saban. I know this isn't an NFL forum but these are SEC guys. And IMO it's terrible they didn't feed Alexander the ball.

The NFL talk is fine as long as it is SEC related. I agree with you about Shaun Alexander. He is a workhorse and he's playing for the wrong team. If you give Shaun the ball 20-30 times a game, you will win. I guess Holmgren doesn't see it that way. He better be careful though, Shaun could scat even if Seattle agrees to more money.

As a rule of thumb in coaching, you put the ball in your playmaker's hands to win games. Shaun Alexander is the BIG TIME playmaker for that team.
