The Vols lost to an average ND team (5-3) at Home, Mainly due to the loss of Ainge.IMO The vols Have 2 sec games left and without Ainge they are likely to lose one of those. As far as the SEC title game, If Tn makes it, it will be a blow out. Tn. should drop in the polls from 11th to somewhere around 20th.

USA does have a point there Rebel. Notre Dame started off slow this year losing to BYU, but they have rebounded and upset many teams caught in their way. They are in no way average in my opinion.

Given the fact that Vandy played the UF pretty good for most of the game and UK rolled what, some 300+ yards on us, the Vols don't have it as easy as they would have if Ainge(?) hadn't gotten hurt. I think UK has the best chance, but in the SEC, as you all know, anything can, and usually does happen. Yogi said it I think, "It ain't over 'till it's over". :D

who did ND loose to? they are average and UT they are overrated. How many teams has UT blown out? They have struggled to beat every team they have played this year even Ole MIss. That tells me the Vols should not be ranked 11th in the country and that will change come Monday.

I dont think Tennessee is an average team. I think they are a very good team just they are going to have to learn how to win with the 3rd string qb in. Sounds a lil fimilar doesnt it.... Alabama has been doing it ever since the 3rd game of the season. If you was watchin the Miss st game last night you might have heard the announcers talkin about how if alabama still had croyle we would probably be in the thick of things and be a BCS team. Tennessee is a good football team but in my opinion without Ainge they gonna have a hard time of things until they learn how to play to their strengths. Notre Dame is a very good football team, not the Notre Dame they once was , but still a very good team capable of beatin anyone in the country. It would not s urprise me to see Vandy or Kentucky pull an upset of Tennessee. Anything can happen in confrence play and both teams are scrapppy and usually play a good tough game. To be totally honest I hope they do pull an upset cuz i feel a Georgia / Auburn SEC championship game would be alot more competitive than an Auburn / Tennessee game. Reguardless I think Auburn will be SEC Champs and in my opinion probably the National Champs by the time things are all said and done.

I was saying Notre Dame was average not Tennessee, However without Ainge I guess Tennessee is now average.

Ainge, in my opinion, has been very overrated this year. Yes, he has managed to pull off wins, but he's made plenty of "freshman mistakes" that have almost cost them the game on several occasions. I think he'll be a pretty good QB as his experience grows, but I don't think he's "the next Manning" as everyone's loved to say this season.

Tennessee really should be able to pull themselves together without him, at least to the same calibur that they have been playing with him in the game. The biggest hurdle for them right now is getting over the loss of their "star QB" and keep their heads in the game and go for it. It took us a few games after losing Croyle earlier this season to do this, so I can say first-hand that it is not easy to keep your mind focused when you lose what seems to be a key player on your team (or multiple key players now in our case). But everything's finally starting to pull together for us again now. UT just doesn't have as much time to work with to get over their loss, so it will definitely be an interesting end-of-season.

I have to disagree, Ainge is an exceptional Freshman QB, how many guys right out of high school can read a defense and run an offense like this Guy? We are fortunate that our 3rd stringer is also experienced and knows the offense well, I think the team will rally around Clausen and Leak and finish the year up strong I'd like to have Ainge back by the SECCG though. GO VOLS!!

Ainge is really good and I believe in the next couple of years we could pretty much own the SEC East....I would believe that our closest competition would be Florida...UGA is losing a lot...I'm not taking a thing away from them because they're good but they're losing Greene, Gibson, Brown, and Pollack....Florida, like us, has a lot of young talent that is coming up...Next year should be interesting in the SEC

That's a pretty BOLD statement.

SEC... Live and die by the team.... the word fan is short for fanatical, and the def of fanatical in no way shape or form uses the word logical. :)

So I'll just have to agree with 'em ;)
