The SEC East race has gotten rather HOT these last few weeks. With three (3) teams having a chance for the SEC East Title, expect each team to develop a dog-eat-dog mentality. The major players for the East include Georgia, Tennessee and USC. Tennessee has the East Title pretty much wrapped up, but there are some "twitches" that they have to overcome. After Florida's devastating loss to Mississippi State, this will be a year where Florida will have no chance at redemption. On top of the SEC East sits Tennessee. A major competitor that quite possibly could make it to Atlanta. One thing stands in their way though, that's USC. If USC were to defeat Tennessee on Saturday and Florida would beat Georgia, that would give USC one last chance at a "hail mary" pass for the title. It's quite ironic that USC is in the position to be a spoiler for Tennessee considering that USC has played "catch-up" for the last few years. Only time will dictate the future.

Actually if we beat Tennessee, we should have the inside track to the title game assuming Florida beats Georgia. As may nickname states i am a diehard usc fan. i attend use and in fact i live about 3 doors down the hall from gamecock7646. however, the one thing that has bothered me about usc in the past is that when we have a chance to control our own destiny we dont get it done. we should have taken care of business against ole miss but we didn't. that being said. georgia lost to ut that same day so, we were basically given a reprieve. we cannot let another opportunity to put ourselves in the drivers seat go by the wayside. if we put our leave our past mishaps in the past where they belong, we have just as good a shot to be in atlanta as anyone. LETS GO COCKS!!!!!!
