The showdown begins October 23 at 7pm EST on ESPN2. The most feared Quarterbacks in the SEC are facing off in a duel to the death. The feared David Greene and his Georgia Bulldogs will travel to face the prolific Matt Jones and his Arkansas Razorbacks. Well for starters, Matt Jones may not play in this game though due to a pulled groin. (Auburn) Given Jones' past, he will probably play regardless if he is still in pain. This is a guy that has played through pain before and the dedication he has for this team is astounding. His predecessor, Clint Stoerner also had the "knack" for playing through injuries.

This Arkansas team has oodles of untapped talent, but I don't think that talent is going to blossom before or during this game. UGA is going to come out and come out hard with a killer rushing attack lead by TB Danny Ware. The only hope that I have for Arkansas to win is if Jones can play through this injury and somehow guide this Razorback team to glory as he has done before. The Arkansas rushing/defensive game will have to step it up a notch to avoid another "Auburn" type of embarrassment. I would really like Arkansas to win this game, but I honestly feel that they do not have the goods to unseat this tough Georgia team.

Georgia 28
Arkansas 21 (With Matt Jones playing)

Without...

Georgia 28
Arkansas 7

I'm worried about this one, but you never know in this league and you damn sure never know with Arkansas. Nice post and great reference to Stoerner, don't see that enough.

I know I read where Matt Jones was "dunking the ball over the goalposts" yesterday, so i'm going to assume he'll play in this one. But regardless, i'm not sure the Hogs can win this one without an enormous dose of Jones.

Clint Stoerner was a GREAT QB! By reading my article, you can obviously tell that I do my homework huh?

I am praying that Arkansas wins because that helps out USC in the SEC East race. I just don't think it will happen. Please Arkansas, prove me wrong!!!!
