I have to post this. However, I won't make mention of it again.

ALL OF YOU WHO TALKED YOUR SMACK ABOUT UGA, PLEASE STEP UP AND READ THIS TWICE.

I TOLD YOU SO !!

HOW DOES THAT CROW TASTE?? DON'T EVER DOUBT WHAT I SAY, I KNOW MY DAWGS AND I KNOW FOOTBALL.

I won't quote any of you. You know who you are and you know what you said. The DAWGS are for real !! They had this date circled the day they got whooped in the SEC championship. As for the way UGA played the first 3 games of the season..... one word.... sandbagging!!! We all know what the "Disaster at the Dome" was (LSU 34, UGA 13 - 2003 SEC Champ. Game), but now we have the "Ambush in Athens"

UGA - 45
LSU - 16

This was a classic sucker your opponent in to thinking you are over-rated and just lay the wood to them.

A personal note:

I went to the game. I did the traditional Saturday at UGA. Got up at dark thirty in the morning, got dressed in my red and black. Went to the huge tailgate party we have that starts at 6 am and ends when we all can drink anymore adult beverages. I just want to say that there was a buzz today floating around in the air on campus and we just knew we were gonna show up and show the nation. And the crowd. I have never heard the crowd so loud in my life. The electricity was amazing. It made the hair on my arms and legs stand up.

Alright guys, no more jeering from me and I hope there is no hard feelings. We all know now what UGA is capable of. There is a long season ahead, but UGA got the kind of performance today that you build a season on.

I'll be at Erik Ainge and Brent Schaffer's Baptismal by Fire next week. As for the way they played tonight, it doesn't looked good for Tennessee next week coming to Athens.

I'll have my Post-Prediction comments on my Games of Interest tommorrow evening.

Hey,

It's like I said in my earlier post. I was wrong and I will admit it. UGA really surprised me today. They played like they should have. All of us were dogging UGA because of their slow start in the first 4 games. UGA dominated LSU left and right and we are not going to dispute that.

The only games that UGA really needs to worry about is:

At Arkansas (Fayetteville)
At Auburn

Other than those 2, I see no reason that UGA cannot win the rest of their games.

I felt all week that UGA would win. I was right. The "Ambush in Athens" was one nice show.

If we go into Athens next week like we yesterday's game, we will lose. No question about that. Heck, I think we'll lose anyway; our defense is just to weak. I really hope I'm wrong, but I've got a feeling about this one.

Dudeman,

Tennessee just needs to stick with what they do best. Run the ball, run the ball, and then run the ball some more. I think the offensive coaches for Tennessee were looking to the freshman QB's for big plays and you just can't put that kind of a burden on a "fresh" QB. I was surprised at how much Tennessee passed. I only saw the first half. I spent the second half driving home from the LSU/Georgia game. So, I don't know what happened in the second half, but I think Tennessee needs to be patient with the pass and just run. Afterall, it only takes one score and great defense to beat anyone.

Personally, I think Tennessee better come up with a defensive game plan. UGA proved yesterday that you can't play them Man to Man, or blitz them uncontrollably. Also, they can't play zone defenses on UGA, David Greene will pick them apart and Danny Ware will run all over the place if linebackers are dropping into zone converages. Tennessee will play valiantly, but I just don't see it happening after yesterday. Don't get me wrong, any team can beat any other team on any given day, but the prognosis as of now is the previous sentence. Talk about surprised !! I think we ALL were surprised yesterday.

I admit I said UGA was overrated. I was quickly corrected by my UGA fiance. She was quick to tell me that UGA had 6 players on suspension or soemthing that they got back for this game. I am an UGA fan unless they play Bama, and I got another year or two, THANK GOD. Good Job UGA. WTF happened to the Vols? Oh yea, Auburn did LMAO.....
