Hey guys. What do you think about the other BIG game this weekend? Can LSU dig deep and pull the upset, or will GA start playing up to preseason expectations? I think this one could be uncomfortably close for the Dawgs. I know my GA friends think that the Dawgs have yet to flip the switch offensively, but we see that all too often, that can be difficult to do. LSU comes in with an axe to grind and with the pressure that last year wasn't a fluke. LSU has to save their season with a win and get the fans back on the bandwagon. Green and the Dawgs have yet to face the defensive pressure that the Bengal Tigers will put on them and may be looking ahead to next week's showdown with the Vols!
LSU-16, Georgia-14
Georgia has NOT been playing to their potential and I think that LSU is going to exploit that.

Morons !!!!!
Morons???? Are you brain-dead? Do you have a brain hemorrhage or a scorching case of gange green of the brain? UGA is going to get their butt KICKED up and down the field. Mr. David Green is going to be riding the "little" school bus by the end of that game.

i think LSU will win. I think both of these teams were in a slump to start, but LSU jumped out of that last week. I think georgia is alot better than they are playing right now, but i just dont think they will be able to "flip the switch" agaisnt a team like LSU. Hopefully it doesnt flip in two weeks either. Right now Georgia is like a time bomb waiting to go off, and i hope it goes off after they play my vols.
Not to say i dont have trust in UT, they have been playing very sound football, and anyone who has watched them will tell you that offensivley, we are very dangerous. they will also say that our defense is weak. this may be true, but they are improving game by game. im going to hope for the best this year, but in one or two years, watch out, cause we are gonna be very, very , very good. Eric Ainge. remember that name, my friends.

Morons??? DAWG, you're showing your true colors again. Georgia probably has the better team (especially offensively), but unfortunately for you, you're catching LSU at the wrong time! LSU has something to prove after a disapointing start and your overconfidence in your beloved DAWGS is exactly why I think you guys are in trouble. Maybe GA will prove me wrong, but you see this scenario play out every year! After, all your big talk lately, you better make sure you come in next week and take your medicine like a man (or boy in your case) when the Dawgs lose this one!!
See...he is acting like a "spoiled" brat because we all don't think UGA is as good as the media says they are.

As someone who was around to remember Georgia win it all way back when, I can tell you that I have never liked seeing my team ranked so high. Honestly, even during the past few years when they have enjoyed success they have strived on being the underdog. Why do I think they will pull it out this weekend? Because I think the QB situation is going to favor Georgia, LSU can't establish a true leader and that's one of the missing links from last year. However, I will admit that Georgia will have to "flip the switch on" and start playing 4 quarters of offense. We all know that this game will be about defense so Georgia has to get a running game or we're already in trouble.
I believe Georgia has a good shot next weekend also but I wouldn't bet the house on it. Although they are another team with two people fighting to be the dominant starter, the kids can flat out play. That's the reason the SEC is without a doubt, the best conference in the land. If any team can make it through an SEC schedule and go undefeated then they belong in the CG with no arguments. I believe that Georgia has the talent of the #3 team but I have yet to see it show up for a full game. Until that time, I don't see one SEC team running the table. (Not meaning that no other team couldn't do it, just don't think anyone will)
My prediction for this weekend, experience and home field will make it a very close game, the spread is at 3 right now (was at 3.5) and I think that is a pretty good guess.

I agree with you Huckle. LSU doesn't have a proven QB and that's really going to hurt them unless they can magically fix that. Truth be known, I'm rooting for you guys this week (as that would help TN's cause should we be fortunate enough to beat you guys). As I said earlier, though, I think this is tough time to be getting LSU. Had LSU beaten Auburn, I'd like your chances. But I believe they come into this game with a chip on their shoulders. I hope you guys get your offense straightened out before Saturday.

Yes, LSU losing will probably make them play with fire, hopefully our crowd can be a distraction but the're used to a lot of noise down in Baton Rouge. Even with LSU losing, Georgia SHOULD come out pumped up also. I don't think they have forgotten the LSU games from a year ago so maybe that will be reason enough for them to come out and play in the first half.
Either way, I expect the SEC east to be a dead heat again this year and I would say that even if Georgia lost this weekend, they would still be able to get an inside track towards the East crown if they can pull it off next weekend (I'm not forgetting the Gator team that would love to get in the way, and has). Vice versa also though, I think next Saturday will be just as big, if not bigger in that respect. That's why they go out there every Saturday. Can't look that far ahead though.
Huckle,
Either way, this game is going to be a top notch, drag-out, beat down!!!!
