Looking forward to a good game with the Tigers. This will def. be our biggest test to date and the best defense we have seen so far. Hopefully the Auburn players wil overlook us this year, but i doubt it. Last year they ran it down our throat, and our running game was s**t thanks to our off. coordinator. This year it should be a diff. story as far as our offense goes. I feel who ever can stop the running game the best will win, and im hoping that playing in knoxville at night will help us out. I have a lot of respect for Auburn this year, and it should be a great game. Any thoughts?

What is going to hurt Tennessee is the Auburn defense and their rushing game. If they cannot stop the Tigers from running the ball.....Game Over...:(

I definetly agree. However I think Auburn has the upper hand because of the Cadillac Williams and "Escalade" Brown. Geez, I couldn't believe the CBS announcers when they said that. Also, the experience of Jason Campbell will be tough for Tennessee.

Make sure you read my Games of Interest post this Thursday for my in-depth analysis and predictions

I agree! TN (no offense FLA) has not played a good defense this year. It will be interesting to see how the freshmen QB's respond. Although, they did play good in a high pressure situation against a good FLA team, I imagine that Auburn will do what Florida didn't and really come after the freshmen QBs. I still think that TN will be able to move the ball efectively! My real concern is our defense. The Vols have not defended the run well this year and I think that the Auburn RB's will be licking their chops. All that being said, if the turnovers are relatively even, I still like the Vols' chances at home.
Tn-27, Au-21!!! Go Vols!!!!

Im feeling better and better about this game...i really think our offense is so deep that auburn will have to score a LOT of points to beat us. our future heisman qb (ainge, who is currently 11th on the heisman watch list.....the only freshman in the group) is well poised and we are 8 deep at receiver and 4 deep at RB. they may have caddy and escalade, but weve got houston and riggs. our offensive line is considered the best in the nation by many sports writers, and our punting game is dangerous enough to make the offense start behind the 20 almost every time.
our defense needs work, (the backfield and D line) but people tend to focus only on the weaknesses and not the strengths that make up for it. (our lbs and defensive ends)
in the end i think the home crowd will be a huge factor. Add in the fact that these guys are very hungry for revenge, and i see a big "W" after saturday night. Auburn is a great team, and it will be a test............

Our defense scares me. The last two games, they almost seemed confused. If Auburn runs it down our throat, we could be hurting.

Everyone keeps saying "It'll be interesting to see how our freshmen QB's respond". They've done pretty good so far. But, I agree, it will be interesting against Auburn.

Go Vols!

Honestly Dudeman, this will be their 1st TRUE test. I think Ainge may just pull it out.
