Just back in from Death Valley, emphasis on the DEATH! :) Here are a few of my observations.

First, LSU is a very talented and classy football team. They completely dominated this game. Their punter never got on the field of play. I think that says it all about how they played. Saban also showed a ton of class by not using his three timeouts before halftime to score another TD with the score already 34 - 0.

With that said, MSU has got to start making tackles. Arm tackling doesn't work against any team, especially one as talented as LSU. Work on tackling, I beg you.

The play calling is also leaving much to be desired. Is the West Coast Offense made up of only two plays? The counter trap and the slant? I know Croom keeps preaching no talent, but the coaches have got to start doing something to get these guys in position to do some good things.

Finally, if you could have told me LSU would fumble the ball five times and we wouldn't score, I would have laughed you off this board. Some good things have got to come from turnovers other than another turnover or a punt.

Great time in Baton Rouge, other than the game, of course. ;)

Sorry to see such a bad performance. Croom will turn it around one day! hehe

MSU wasn't dominated....THEY WERE PIMP-SLAPPED UP AND DOWN THE STREET LIKE A CRACK-HEAD!!! I have NEVER seen a team perform so poorly. It seemed like the MSU players gave up shortly before halftime.

Sylvester has to have more talent to compete in the SEC. It will take time, money and lots of help from the MSU faithful. It can be done. I remember well the first year Bobby Bowden took over at FSU. The Seminoles were slapped by every good team they played. Then Bowden fired up the boosters and the university. Croom must do the same.
