Just wanted to give you guys some analysis and predictions on some games of interest in the SEC this Saturday.

The Game of the Week is no doubt the Alabama at Arkansas matchup. I am totally amazed at how well the Hogs have played this season considered they returned only 3 starters from last year's team. I am also amazed at why Mike Shula of Alabama left star quarterback Brodie Croyle in the game when his team was up by a ton. The football gods did not smile upon the Tide and Alabama lost Croyle for the season due to a ACL tear.

The Prediction:

Arkansas - 16
Alabama - 10

The new QB for Alabama will have a hard time leading his troops at War Memorial Stadium and the Hogs will become contenders in the West after Saturday. However, Alabama's D will contain Matt Jones and hold the Hogs to a low point total, but as I said before, lack of leadership will be the Tide's demise.

Vanderbilt @ Navy

Vandy, Vandy, Vandy. Will you ever win another SEC game? How can you blow a lead to Ole Miss like you did? What a disappointment they have been this year with such a veteran team returning from last year. However, Navy is steamrolling it's opponents and the triple option offense is in full tilt. Expect Navy to win.

Navy - 28
Vanderbilt - 13

Most Interesting Game of the Week to watch

Troy St. @ South Carolina

I don't want to knock an SEC team and I will say that South Carolina had UGA on the ropes, but South Carolina lost to UGA because of it's one-dimensional offense. Dondrial Pinkins is no Brad Smith and if Troy St. can do what they did against Missouri, they will beat the Gamecocks in Columbia. South Carolina's offense is the Achilles Heel of this team. It is up to Lou Holtz if he wants to win this game. If Dondrial can not get it going, he better seriously think about putting in Slyvelle Newton, who was impressive last week. Troy will stop South Carolina's running game and it will be up to the passing attack for South Carolina to win. Upset Alert here for the Gamecocks, but I believe they will pull it out in a close one.

South Carolina - 13
Troy St. - 10

Hope you guys liked my post, and as always comments and return analysis is welcome.

you're pretty damn delusional, 48-28, 20-16, and 13-3(Troy Beat Marshall btw so they could probrably beat you).
for SC: 31-6, 20-16, and 34-3 (also we played no Div. I-AA) You wanna badmouth a team, badmouth your own....

Hey! No problem.... Nothing wrong with opinions and predictions. If everyone agreed on them all, we would all cheer for Alabama.... That would be boring. hehe.... See ya Sunday morning....

SC 13 - Troy 10...? are you kidding? georgia BARELY beat SC, so one would assume that the dawgs would also struggle agaisnt Troy.
I am far from a gamecock fan, but i do believe they are under-rated. i dont think they are a powerhouse, but they do have a respectable team. even though i cant wait to see UT kick their a** later this year. Give SC some credit!

IMO.....something like SC 37 - Troy 7

For usavolfan,

Again, a fan who looks only at the score. USC's defense outscored it's offense against UGA. USC's only touchdown came on a long pass and poor tackling by UGA. How many points did an under-rated USC team score in the second half of the UGA game? ZERO !

For RW13,

You need to read my reply to the Dawgs Holding Back post. And, I will add one more thing to that, it doesn't matter if the score is 10-9 or 84-0, a win is a win.

Are you crazy????? I do not see how you can think so highly of your bulldogs after they have had a hard time with everyone. (GASouthern, USC, Marshall) Yes it's true, a win is a win, but USC is a stronger team than what people think. I agree 110% with RW, Chris, and USAVOLFAN. USC has a lot of weapons and I think that they are way underrated. My honest prediction is:

USC 28
Troy 7
