The main concern for UF in this game is UT's running attack vs our Def. front. The LBs are talented, and the younguns' up front should play well. UT plays right into UFs hand in this game...our weakness on defense is in the Secondary...UTs weakness is at QB....I know the lil' fellers played well against UNLV....but we aint UNLV.

As far as UFs offense vs UTs def....UF will score at least 24 points to UTs 10-13.

Florida is going to eat those two freshmen qb's up!

They will be good one day... but tomorrow is not that day.

Then again... like Dennis Miller of HBO fame... I could be wrong.

But I doubt it.

Should be a interesting game. Too bad I can't go...

As much as I'd like to see us beat Florida (again), I honestly don't think it will happen... I could be wrong.

But I doubt it.

Edit: By the way, welcome to the site GatorHunter!

Those two qb's are going to be good for Tennessee...

I just can't see them beating Florida...

I fully agree. They're good, and switching them out every-so-often should keep the defense on their toes.

It's gonna be a tough game tonight.

Just got through watching a game that was screwed up at the end by an official whom I believe was the Side judge...granted the Florida player slapped the Vol player but only after the Vol player slapped him in the facemask...two wrongs don't make a right...but the official looked to be about 20 feet from both of them and seemed to be looking at both of the players and flagged Florida...which then moved them back and they had to punt...and the Vols kick the FG to win...as a former official, one of the key things that was always emphasized was to let the players decide the contest...if anything...a double foul should have been called offsetting...I hope that the SEC sets the officials down for a couple of games for screwing up this wonderful game...yes it sounds like sour grapes but never the less it did possibly affect the outcome of this game...

Looks like the Ainge kid is going to be a good one...

As a warning, this post is going to be scattered. I'm writing things as I think of them.

What a game... There have been two memorable moments in UT football during my life: Beating UF at home in 1998, and beating UF last night. Truly amazing.

Ainge and Schaeffer put on a good show. For true freshmen, they're doing quite good.

Turnovers. We had 4 of them. That alone should have sealed our fate.

Finally, James Wilhoit. He didn't miss a single extra point last year. Who would have thought that he would miss an extra point, then turn around and kick the winning field goal. From 50 yards. Not me.

Last but not least is the attendance last night. 109,061 people came to watch us beat Florida, which is the largest in Neyland Stadium history.

Well, as I said in another post I really didn't like that officiating crew. They made some bad calls and missed others.

To be quite honest..in my opinion, and the opinion of many others, is that the side official blew the game. Its pretty sad when an SEC official does something that stupid, which got the attention big time on the post game sportscenter and other sports shows. It always pisses me off when an official can determine the outcome of the game. So, the gators should have won, no questions asked.

Maybe they should have. But they didn't.

As for officials blowing that call, people need to remember 2 years ago when whoever it was dropped the ball in the end zone. The officials said he had possession of it when he clearly didn't. Florida got the score and won.

Now, I'm not saying that two wrongs make a right (but three lefts do ;)). Even though it was blown (yes, I'll admit it), it can't be changed.

By the way, welcome to SEC Talk, ramajama.ua!

The Side Judge probably got a little extra in his pay envelope.

Heh. I hadn't thought about that. :D

I was watching that game, and being neutral in this matter, it appeared to me that the side judge was looking a little left of the two players and turned his attention to them just as the Vols players hand was coming down, (after the hit) he clearly saw the retaliation by the Gator. That is very common in football. The first blow is very often missed. Not to say there were no other bad calls throughout the game, JMO on what happened in that instance.
