No way. I wanted USC to win. Sure enough they did. I know it's wrong to base you opinion about a team on just one player, but we all do it and one of those teams for me is VT. I don't like Michael Vick and thus I just don't like VT just because he played there. No other reason, I guess.

But VT did surprise a few people including myself. I knew that it was going to be a close game, but I didn't expect VT to ever lead. They have an awesome rushing game (especially in Randall) and his passes looked good on occasion. VT has nothing to be ashamed of in that loss at all.

I just don't like Southern Cal. because they are some "cocky" punks. They claim to be National Champions instead of "Co-Champions". One thing that SC needs to understand is this: Who's trophy says "College Football National Champions"???? Who ended up getting the ADT Trophy? (Formally known as the Sears trophy)

LSU refers to themselves as the National Champs too, not the Co-National Champs. Here at Ole Miss we say that we won the West last year when in reality, we were Co-West Champions with LSU. It is still technically correct to say that you are National Champs even if you share that title with another team.

And you know as well as I do that USC didn't have a chance at the ADT Trophy.

But I will agree that USC FANS can be pretty arrogant (sp?). That's true with any team's fans.

Honestly, LSU fans can call themselves champs because they earned the TRUE National Championship trophy. To keep the peace though, we will give the AP their "PAPER" championship trophy and call it a co-championship.
