Just my 2 cents.......There are too many boards on this site.

It needs to be simplified. One sports board and maybe one for politics or something of that nature.

If this board were like the old SST board where you could just scroll down and see ALL sports posts on 1 page , this site could explode.

As it is , with so many different boards or pages , it just seems watered down.

Consolidate all the teams , different sports and recruiting all together and this thing could roll.

That is just my opinion , but I think people might stay longer if there were 10 posters on the same page rather than 2 on the football page , 1 on the basketball page , 2 on the baseball page , 1 on the UT page , 3 on the Bama page.......I hope by now you get my drift.

Unclutter this thing and it will take off.

Also it would help to make it known that ALL sports talk is welcome here , not just SEC.

Unify and multiply.............give it a chance , the way it is right now tumbleweeds are rolling through.

I like everything the way it is. The more forums the better IMO. The more forums there are the longer I'm gonna be on the site. I like diversity of issues. Just my opinion.

It just doesn't seem to be working this way from where I see it.

Having everything on 1 page shouldn't take away from diversity , it just makes it easier to access.

With all due repect, I think everything is GREAT the way it is :) . I mean the 'statistics' speak themselves: "Threads: 3,546, Posts: 51,115, Members": 950-as of 6/18/05 9:53PM. :)

Doesn't it seem kind of sad that there are 950 members according to Gamecocksrule and only 10 are on here right now??? Hell , Genespage has 78 logged in right now and that is only one school with no sports going on right now.

It also depends on how you go about browsing the site. I usually just go to Today's Posts under the Forums link so I get the most recent ones...if I want only new posts, I do that instead. If I want to go find a particular thread and know where it's at, it's easier if I can narrow it down by topic.

The more topics/forums the better....to narrow it down seems to narrow thought. You'll get the hits anyway....

No offense taken :) I think if you would hang around more and get to know everyone on the board better you wouldn't worry so much about the "traffic" being slow (in your opinion). Maybe it's just me, but I don't think the traffic is "slow" by any means ;)

Nope, not at all. There's usually somewhere between 10-20 members online at any given time, and that doesn't include people who are viewing the site unregistered.

You seriously can't expect even half of that number to be here at the same time.

In all honesty, during recruiting season we had an average of around 40+ people online looking for my recruiting updates.

Usually, I would agree with Dudeman. We usually have 10-20 members on at one time. :cool:

I don't dislike this site , in fact , I am PULLING HARD FOR IT TO THRIVE.

I have been looking for a place to discuss SEC sports and ALL Southern sports , hell for that matter ALL SPORTS PERIOD.

As an MSU fan , I have my Bulldog sites to go to , but I need more. I want to hear from fans of every school. Hell , I would like to see this site go to 10,000 members and have 2 or 3 hundred here all the time.

I made a suggestion and nobody agreed. Thus , I withdraw the suggestion.

I am not here to fight or insult. I am here to talk sports.

If I have offended you , then I appoligize.

I will remain and hope to visit often , let's talk sports.

Thats one of the things I like about it too. Most of the people on here have been here a while and gotten to know each other and has an idea of what their personality is like by the posts on here. Im glad there are new people joining and welcome them to stay. I do have to say though, that if there were a lot more people on here posting it would be much harder to keep up with all the posts.
