Here's a little tidbit........don't go to The Palace nightclub with Channing Crowder unless you are looking for some trouble.
Channing Crowder arrested at nightclub again
Gainesville police have arrested two Gator football players. Linebacker Channing Crowder and safety Jarvis Herring were arrested after an alleged incident at The Palace nightclub over the weekend.
Crowder was charged with disorderly conduct and Herring with resisting without violence; both charges are misdemeanors.
According to a Gainesville Police Department arrest report, Crowder was arguing and yelling at another person outside the club. The report said later that Crowder tried to run away from a police officer and refused to be handcuffed. Allegedly, Herring tried to interfere in the arrest process of Crowder.
This isn't the first time Crowder has been in trouble. He pled no contest to a charge that he kicked and punched a man to the ground in an incident at the same nightclub and served six months probation.

I would not worry about it if I were a Fla. fan. If you don`t about kill someone you might as well be ready to see them in pads come regular season. I am not talking exclusively about Fla. I am talking about all the universities. Yes this includes us. Typical bar fight. I do believe though if I were the Fla. player I would have to find me a different drinking establishment. Apparently he has wore out his welcome at that one. I guess he doesn`t play well with others. It looks like a AA program and maybe a little anger management may be in order.

LOL Gill,
A buddy of mine from Gainesville was telling me that most of the guys don't go out to the main bars because of all the attention and there's always someone who wants to prove his mettle to the football guys. Plus, Gainesville only recently started closing down all the bars at the same time, so you've got a ton of drunk folks all dispersing at 2 a.m. instead of different hours, all going the same way. Trouble waiting to happen. Crowder is a true sophomore....I'm assuming he's still getting drunk at the club though.
Well, at least for whoever it was.......he didn't pick a fight with Joe Cohen. Damn, that guy is a beast now.

Cohen faces charge of disorderly conduct
I love Cohen's potential.....guy came as a RB and bulked up bigtime and moved to the defensive line and looked like a beast. I knew he was strong but THROWING a scooter? Damn, stay out of his way.
GAINESVILLE -- While Florida linebacker Channing Crowder has been in the news for his arrest last weekend for disorderly conduct, another UF defensive player recently went before a judge after an arrest last month.
Defensive end Joe Cohen also faced a charge of disorderly conduct as well as another charge of criminal mischief, a University Police Department report said. Both charges are misdemeanors.
Cohen, a 6-foot-2, 260-pound sophomore from Palm Bay who is expected to play a key role on UF's defensive line this season, was arrested and issued a notice to appear when he admitted to lifting a motorized scooter over his head and throwing it to the ground outside a UF dormitory.
"The defendant was advised of his rights, and he stated that he picked up the scooter and threw it to the ground just to see how strong he was," the report said.
Cohen was ordered to pay restitution of $437.50 to the owner of the scooter, who also is a Florida student. As part of a pretrial diversion program, Cohen also must remain trouble-free for six months and donate $150 to a charitable organization or complete 10 hours of community service.
The police report said the officer was patrolling the campus at 2:23 a.m. on April 15 when he heard a loud crashing sound coming from the area near Fraternity Row. The officer then observed Cohen, 19, standing over the scooter, which was lying on its side.
The report said that while questioning Cohen, the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol. When the officer asked if Cohen had been drinking, Cohen told the officer, "I'm drunk, sir."
Crowder, last year's Southeastern Conference Freshman Defensive Player of the Year, was arrested early last Sunday after ignoring a police officer's orders to stop an argument with another unidentified man.
The case against Crowder is being investigated.
