Having seen the A Day performance, I ask this, Auburn people: Will Brandon Cox relieve our QB woes? Will Tuberville play him, or will we have to watch Campbell get sacked and throw picks for another year?
at least you have a college QB, we have a Pop-Warner Option QB...

Yeah, Cox was voted MVP of the "A Day" scrimmage after going 12-of-13 for 206 yards and two TDs and he seems to be a much more comfortable pocket passer than Campbell is. Tigers reshaping their offensive system a little bit to take advantage of Cambell's athleticism so that MAYBE they can prevent teams from sticking eight hats in the box and forcing Campbell to beat them.
Auburn's defense bounced back in the Tigers final spring scrimmage forcing six three-and-out's on the offenses first nine possessions and allowing just three touchdown drives, two of which were 50 yards or less........Antarrious Williams had a great spring for the D. Cadillac had 45 yards rushing on 10 carries and had a big gain on a screen pass.
Auburn's final spring game wrapup
AUBURN - The defense shined on Wednesday afternoon as Auburn held its final practice of the Spring, a 91-play scrimmage at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
"We had almost 1,100 scrimmage plays this Spring, which is a lot," said head coach Tommy Tuberville. "We went full speed and had a lot of running plays, not just passing scrimmages. I thought our offensive and defensive lines improved, especially the back up groups. We worked on depth as much as we did our starters. Overall, it was a good Spring with no major injuries. We were real physical and the young guys pushed through it."
The defense, which was the weak link in Saturday's A-Day game, forced six three-and-out's on the offenses first nine possessions and allowed just three touchdown drives, two of which were 50 yards or less.
"Today was the day we were going to reward situations where they played well," Tuberville said. "So, it worked out well for them. But we still have a lot of holes to fill and a lot of work to do."
Travis Williams and Antarrious Williams sparked the defensive effort. Antarrious had a team-high 10 tackles, including two for a loss. Travis added three tackles, two of which were sacks.
Safety Junior Rosegreen also halted a solid drive by the first-team offense when he intercepted a deflected Jason Campbell pass and returned it 40 yards. Rosegreen had six tackles on the afternoon.
"Defensive enthusiasm was a lot better," said Tuberville. "They played with a lot more intensity. It was good to see them make a lot of plays I tied their hands all Spring. It was good to see them have some fun."
On the offensive side, Brandon Cox stepped up to lead the second-team offense to three touchdown drives against the second-team defense. The first drive was a 14 play marathon that covered 80 yards and ended with a six-yard scoring strike to tight end Cole Bennett.
Cox was 4-for-5 on the drive for 40 yards. Later, Cox directed touchdown drives of 50 and 40 yards. He went 3-for-3 for 40 yards on the second drive before Kenny Irons punched it in from two yards out.
Cox hit Anthony Mix for a 23-yard gain on the first play of his final drive before Tre Smith and Irons combined to gain the final 17 yards on the ground to get into the endzone. Cox finished the day 8-of-9 with 103 yards and the touchdown.
"A lot of the young guys made a lot of strides," said Tuberville. "Brandon Cox has bounced back and had a great off season and a great Spring. But the jury's still out on him. He needs to keep working hard and keep learning."
Starting quarterback Jason Campbell was 5-for-11 on the afternoon for 88 yards and one interception. His best drive went nine plays and 78 yards before stalling at the 17-yard line. From there, both Phillip Yost and John Vaughn connected on a 34-yard field goal. The two also hit from 40 yards out on Kelcy Luke's only scoring march.
Luke, who split time on the second team in the scrimmage with Cox, ended up 4-for-9 for 58 yards, including a 50-yard strike to Courtney Taylor. That pass came in the midst of an eight-play, 57 yard drive that ended in the 40-yard field goals.
Taylor led all players with three catches for 58 yards. Devin Aromashodu, Ben Obomanu and Cole Bennett each made two grabs. Aromashodu hooked up with Campbell for a 43-yard gain on Campbell's long drive.
Smith led all running backs with 54 yards on 12 carries and Carnell Williams added 45 on 10 attempts. Williams also had a 34-yard reception on a screen pass where he broke tackles behind the line of scrimmage to break free.

Glad to see that someone has come to Campbells defense again other than me.....
Sorry that I just found this site and not got into some good debates over the last couple months.
