Well, the season has gone about how I expected for my Tigers. Up and Down. Now we've lost our best player. I think that we're in the Dance, but nothing's for certain. A win against Auburn and a good showing in the Tournament and it's a lock. But the work load is going to fall on a lot of freshmen. I'd be surprised and pleased if they made the Sweet 16. I ain't looking for it to happen. But the future looks good.

But what is really interesting is the fever pitch that MSU basketball is building up here. It's almost as if a 1 seed and a Final Four appearance are a given. As is a MSU-UK final in the SEC tourney. From the local paper and the local talk shows, the feeling of euphoria is at an all time high. No doubt about it, MSU is a very good basketball team, having an outstanding season. Maybe the best that they have ever had, to this point. But I have a feeling that there could be huge letdown in the Dance. And the thud that you hear from MSU fans will be even louder than the one from Ole Miss fans when Eli's backside hit the turf in Oxford. I'm not saying that it will happen, but if it does, it ain't going to be pretty....just because of all the chest-thumping and back-slapping that has been going on lately. JMO.

Thanks! Man, the MSU-Bama game today was unreal. I thought that Bama was gonna pull it off. Good thing they didn't, though, since LSU got their arses handed to them by Auburn. Giving us the 2 seed from the West in the SEC tourney and a first round bye. Not that it's going to amount to much. But the pressure continues to build for the Bulldogs! Can't wait to see how this unfolds. B)

I really haven't been gone. Just been checking in to see what's what. I finally decided that one more voice might help to get things rolling. Hope that I'm right. We need some posters!
