Lady Vols move to No. 2 spot in AP poll

Get ready for a No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup in women's basketball, with a twist: Connecticut will not be involved.
Tennessee jumped three places to No. 2 in a major shuffling of The Associated Press poll Monday, adding even more luster to the Lady Vols' game at top-ranked Duke on Saturday.
Duke was No. 1 for the third straight week, receiving all but one first-place vote to lead by its widest margin so far.
The last time Tennessee was ranked second, it lost to a top-ranked Duke team 76-55 in Raleigh on Nov. 24, 2002.
Duke and Tennessee both play good opponents Thursday before facing each other. Duke hosts Maryland (12-4), and Tennessee hosts Vanderbilt (14-2).
"We play them on Saturday,'' Tennessee senior Tasha Butts said of Duke, "until then it's Vandy.''
