Ron Zook has learned to take nothing for granted. Once looking like a coach who wouldn't last long, he could now be looked at as a candidate for SEC Coach of the Year. His No. 17 Florida squad is riding a three-game winning streak heading into Saturday's meeting with Vanderbilt. Much to the surprise of Florida backers, Zook has the Gators back in the race for the conference title.

Yes, you are right about Zook. Not many people were very happy with him being at Florida. But you have to give him credit. He is getting the job done. Florida has beat 3 teams that were ranked in the top 11 at the time. He is supposed to be a relentless recruiter also. Leak is only going to get better and better. So I expect to see Zook there at least 5 or 6 years. But you just never knows what will happen though.
