Official SEC Talk.com Forum Rules and InfoThe goal of this site is to offer an enjoyable place for SEC Fans to get together regardless of who they cheer for and have civil debates and good old fashion competition. Ideal members are those that can accept the fact that their team is not "always" the best. Remember, if in a discussion, you have to resort to name calling or cursing, you've already lost and you risk making your self look worse!
No flaming or trolling- Be respectful of other posters and please keep discussions tasteful. If you want to yell at someone do it in private (PM) please.
No personal attacks. Admins have the right to decide what is and what isn't a personal attack.
No use of profanity or vulgarities
Signature Rules
No Macromedia Flash signatures.
Images must be kept within a reasonable size. The vertical size between the line and the end of your sig should not be much bigger than the image max size of 200 pixels high.
Links in signatures can link to anything you recommend that does not violate SEC Talk Rules. A brief idea : No pornography, no casinos, no affiliate programs or multi-level Marketing, no pop loops, No solicitation of donations, etc... If you have questions contact one of the admins.
Advertisers - Advertisers/Sponsors/Vendors can have links to their websites in their signature, but can not post a blank or otherwise useless post just to get their signature seen. If an advertiser does not want to participate in the discussion, but wants PR, there are many ways to do this onsite.
No spamming - This includes PM spam, It's OK to have a link back to your webpage in your signature but any off-topic spam will be deleted. That includes 'helping people' by advertising your site to them or soliciting other members.
No Links or Discussion about WAREZ, sex, racial, or any otherwise offensive or illegal topics.
No nudes or overly sexy pictures- All posted or linked pics must be PG-13 or lower. Moderators have the right to judge what is not appropriate.
No multiple usernames per person - Only one username is allowed per forum member.
If you are banned - Being banned means that you can no longer post to or view SEC Talk.com. You are also banned for life and we check IP addresses of suspected members that try to re-register. If you are caught doing this, we will place a ban on your IP address.
No double posting - Post to the correct forum! I have instructed the moderators to delete double posts.
SIGNATURES - Signatures must be under 500 Pixels wide. There is no limit on height, but be considerate of others. I would suggest a height of 100 pixels or so and 200 max.
We now have a system in place to automaticly ban members who consitently break the rules. This is the infraction system.

Zero Tolerance
Committing any of the following items can result in an immediate banning. No warning, no PM's, nothing. This is handled on a case per case basis.
Any use of the "F" word. This includes all variations and spellings.
The posting of any pornographic images or links to pornographic sites.
Making troll posts.
Remember these rules are meant to make the site enjoyable for the masses and not just a few select eggheads. If you feel that certain remarks or links are inappropriate, please click the 'Report" button () so that it can be evaluated by a moderator or admin.
Reputation - Don't abuse it!!!

Its ok to go off-topic but if a discussion gets really off-topic go post it to the Water Fountain or the topic will be closed.
Use an appropriate Forum Category for your topic.
Please post in English. We don't have a problem with other languages but this is an English board.
Post Counts do not make you a respected member. Great conversation and helpful post do.
