I could really care less about the opinion of a person who looks up to Mark Gottfried as a golden god and bastion of how basketball is coached.
Looks like Hendrix will get drafted, but he isn't ready. Steele will be back even though he can't stand Gottfried, and Gee will not be drafted...however he could make some money over-seas.
Also are so easy to fool that the program is in shambles.
please don't tell me you think the program is stable...3 underclassmen declared, 1 asked for a release, 1 got kicked off. all within 1 offseason.
i admit what i hear about Steele is hearsay, but the fact that he didn't attend the basketball banquet and his name wasn't even mentioned is a pretty bold statement.
also, comparing Steele to Grizzard is stupid. when healthy Steele was one of the top point guards in the nation. I would compare Gee to Grizzard since they both could take over games one night and completely bomb the next, but Steele was about NBA ready as they come. it was Gottfried that wore him out so bad he had to have surgeries on both his knees.

Plus ROn Steele hated Gottfried and Bama so much he convinced highly touted brother to got to another schoo....... oh wait....... seems his brother is going to Bama after all. The programs problem isn't guys leaving (WKU where I live made the sweet 16, 6 guys left the team this year) it's coaches getting better jobs. Assistants are the "real" coaches.

In his first 10 years..... he's taken the program further in the NCAA tourney than it's ever been. He's won the conference in the toughest it's been in history. But then again, you guys know basketball.
