install it, and you are good to go. It is only 9MB and you can always uninstall it after you watch the game if you don't like it. It will play .mp4 files with no problem though.
The quality of the game is pretty good, much better than you would imagine.
I hope all of you enjoy it as much as I did. If there is a game that you never see being played back on television it is this one, you really hardly ever see it.
Hey if anyone would like to build their own a Bama games on DVD library, PM me.
I was about a month late then wasn't I? I am sure yours is better quality though, although this is pretty darn good.
It's crazy how this game is never retelevised.
Now, I have the '99 SEC Champ Game too, the one where Spurrier looked like he was going to cry the whole game. If you want it, I can upload it for everyone in a couple of days.
I'll wait and see if anyone doesn't already have it first though.

No problem, Tim. I'll put it on this board as soon as it is ready. It takes a while with the SendSpace throttled 50KB/s upload speed. The download speed is fine, but they choke down the upload speed for non-paying users.
I may be able to set my wife s puter up as an FTP server, and we could upload and download to it. I have 20 meg down and 2 up so its better than 50K.
Let me know if anyone would be interested.
That sounds great, Trump, but I don't want you to go to all that trouble. I only have 3 more quarters of the '99 game to upload. I don't have any other games.
Also, for downloading, although not near as good as what you proposed, it is adequate. I tested the download time and I get about 650-700Kbp/s download speed.
It only takes me about 10 minutes to get each quarter. I only have the standard 5Mbps package so I figure everyone with a cable connection will probably get about the same.
Myself and a few others are planning on setting up a system to where one buys and makes copies for everyone else, then the next guy will do the same...........a round robin

if anyone wants in let me know
Count me out, unfortunately. I only have a DVD player, not burner, in my computer. And the only DVD player I have with recording capabilities is one that can record anything off the television or record from a VCR tape to a DVD.
In order to make a copy of a DVD, I would have to copy the DVD to a VCR tape and then copy it back off the VCR tape onto a DVD.
you should just have the person that buys it to rip it and seed it as a torrent.
Ive thought about that but with just one seed and several downing would be awful slow for 3-4 GBs. An FTP server would likely be the best alternative to that.
