Default Pro Day - Alabama
Thought I would post some numbers and stuff. McClain looked the most impressive obviously.

Quote:
While weighty off-field matters dominated talk at the Alabama Pro Day, 20 players got down to the business of running, jumping and lifting on Wednesday indoors because of rain.

Representatives from every NFL team were at the facility in Tuscaloosa, Ala., including Giants general manager Jerry Reese, Giants head coach Tom Coughlin and linebackers coach Jim Herrmann, Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum and coach Rex Ryan, Browns defensive coordinator Rob Ryan and defensive line coach Bryan Cox, Panthers coach John Fox and Packers general manager Ted Thompson.

Linebacker Rolando McClain weighed in at 249 pounds. He ran 4.69 and 4.68 in the 40, had a 35-inch vertical leap, a 9-1 broad jump, 4.41 short shuttle and 7.19 three-cone drill.

Defensive tackle Terrence Cody weighed 349 pounds, ran 5.64 and 5.62 in the 40, 22-inch vertical leap, 7-9 broad jump, kept short shuttle and three-cone drill times from the combine and had 22 bench press reps.

Tight End Colin Peek weighed in at 252 pounds. He ran 4.94 and 4.93 in the 40, 34.5-inch vertical leap, 9-4 broad jump, 4.39 short shuttle and 7.23 three-cone drill.

Offensive lineman Mike Johnson (6-5, 3/4, 312) ran 5.31 and 5.34 in the 40, kept his vertical and broad jump numbers from the combine, ran 5.05 short shuttle and 8.16 three-cone drill.
The big news, Cody coming in 21 pounds lighter. McClain is among the fastest and biggest LB prospects in the draft.

Cool video...just scroll down.

I think Roy Upchurch can have a very productive NFL career. He is very versatile and never lived up to his potential at Bama because of injuries and depth. He will make a great role player for the lucky team that takes a chance on him.

Even though I'm late to the party, I figured I could add this here:

No doubt man, look at that photo above Tider27 posted. That has NFL written all over it....and possibly some other things with all those tats. I don't know about living up to potential, but he's always been a favorite of mine and proved his talent when given the opportunity time after time.

wow after that vid it makes me wonder if Cody is back in the 2nd round range. He has to stay disciplined about his diet but he really does epitomize the NT position.

Cody has got the desire. He has got the fire and the conviction to do well in the pro's. I used to wonder if a guy as huge as he is could be diciplined about his weight, but I have seen how he will buckle down and start losing. It is a good thing, and I know he has a great pro future. All those guys are going to have good careers. I am excited about watching them. They will represent the Crimson Tide very well wherever they go.

Roy Upchurch will be All Pro before 2012.
