Default the Tide's Defense
couple of interesting awesome nuggest regarding the Tide's Defense:

*LSU went three and out on six of its 11 possessions

interesting too, because it turns out that the Tide has had 49 three and outs versus a total of 104 possessions...........freaking incredible

the defense has allowed only 10 touchdowns all year

one thing the Tide has done is not only adjust to life without Dontae but Dontae going down will actually help this defense as it has allowed the Tide to break in and get some LB's SEC savvy heading into next year

and the Tide adjusted well to LSU's no huddle, which caught the Tide by surprise and the "quad" formation, the one with 4 rcvrs all on one side

if we can make it past the testy Bulldogs and then after we stomp a mudhole in AU, its gonna be a slobberknocker in ATL with UF

I agree.

There is a Texas fan on another board I'm on that just raves about Texas' defense and how they stop the run. lol

but that had nothing to do with LSU's losing, that was because of the missed INT..........i still thought it was a neat stat to make people aware of

This defense is indeed incredible. I think it may the best I've seen since 92. They have the tendency to give up a big play every once in a while, but all too often it's too hard for a QB to figure out. Did you see Lee during the LSU game? I remember when he first came on the field, he looked around at the way the defense was lining up, had no clue what to do or call, and had to burn a timeout. Because Saban runs the 3-4, which is more a pro style set, it makes them extra hard to prep for and adjust to. I'm excited about our defense!
