i guess we all see how idiotic that BS about A.J. was and in fact that BS has reared its head again on their board...........its still BS

Star is a redshirt Freshman for gods sake, people get freakin real with the "i cant see him ever starting, he'll transfer"

look at McElroy, sat on the bench FOR 3 FRIGGIN YEARS

Star is a helluva QB, has a great arm and by now knows our offense, next year you will see Star get more time as Saban preps him for football at the Capstone without McElroy and more than likely A.J. will sit patiently behind him, and Sims will sit patiently behind A.J.

and honestly unless A.J. can gain twenty pounds, I don't see him even being anything like all the homosexual posters at BOL think he is.........hell they think he's Jesus Christ
This is true. I know I've stated I don't see Star starting ever for this team, but who knows what will happen down the road. He is only a redshirt freshman and he still has 3 more years here. He could probably be the starter his junior year.

If you're interested in playing in the 2010 SECTalk Fantasy Baseball League, post in the Games and Fantasy forum and let us know.

AJ will start, or he will transfer. that is all.

I don't think it's BS anymore.

Cecil Hurt was on the radio last week and he said the hot rumor in the Press Box was that if McElroy didn't get it together for the 2nd half of LSU that McCarron would be the first one in..not Jackson and not Darrah.

With that said, we've seen Jackson get the mop-up duty and that really makes sense. Why burn McCarron's redshirt if you don't have to?

If McElroy goes down and we're in a tight game, I kindof expect Saban to go with the guy who gives us the best chance to make explosive plays on offense and that guy may be McCarron. I believe Saban trusts his defense that much.

I just can't believe that. There's just no way in hell I believe that a true freshman with 0 snaps in a game gets to go out there against a top 10 team if McElroy doesn't play well. That doesn't even sound remotely reasonable.

thats why your posting here not coaching at bama, if he thinks AJ can do the job hes going to put him in. I agree burning a redshirt is kinda dumb at the end of the season, but its not like yall are short on QBs. and saban really does think ALOT of AJ. also he's one of the hardest workers on the team, I promise. if burning AJ's redshirt means making it to the NC hes going to do it. i would too.

you make a smartass comment about him posting instead of coaching THEN go on like you have dinner with Coach Saban

Saban also thinks alot of Star.........ummmm, thats why he's been 2nd string all year

and define "hardest worker on the team" and tell me where you "read" that

You have got to be kidding me. You can't seriously believe that Nick Saban would burn a redshirt in week 8 to put out a kid with 0 game experience against a top 10 team. Think about what you're saying.

Hell, they'd put Star in and run Ingram from the wildcat on every play before doing that. Think I'm wrong? Think South Carolina.

I mean, im not saying your wrong. but I have a friend tht talked to saban like last week. also i have alot of other sources at bama....not to mention AJ himself, havent talked to him this year at all though, but i could if i wanted to. Saban will do what it takes to win, but i also doubt he will put AJ in this late, hell it may not even be an issue, probly wont be in fact.

i normally dont go so far as to make personal insults. but your acting like an idiot. I may not have had dinner with saban, but i have a friend thats going there on athletic scholorship that did. I personally know AJ. and I'm related to several people that are VERY high up on the totem poll at bama athletics.... need i name more sources? just because im an auburn fan and hate bama doesnt mean i dont know anything about them, far from it....infact i promise i coul go to any bama game i wanted and have better seats than anyone else there... i choose not to because i dont like bama....mostly because of know it alls like you. now read your own post and take a good hard look in the mirror.

I cant believe your this stupid.

It's pretty simple really. AJ's not getting enough reps at practice to be the backup. Really, it's that simple.
