Of note: Mcelroy looks good against the Tide's D. Julio seems to be taking a leadership position. Trent Richardson may be the starter at RB. Bama may play a Big 12 team in 3 years at Dallas' new stadium.
I don't know though. I'm excited about the prospect of him starting right away too but the season is a long way off. Anything can happen. I honestly thought he'd platoon in the backfield with Ingram this year but with Ingram being hurt, who knows? We'll see though. Hopefully he can have a big impact right out of the gate.
I doubt Trent actually starts this year, especially since we'd be perfectly fine with Ingram or even Upchurch starting. Its good that he possibly has the ability to come in and start though.
I think Trent will have almost the same impact as Julio did. He's just that type of player. He may not start right off but will see plenty PT. I believe it's all gonna come down QB and RBs to how well our OL is.
I don't know if he will be on the depth chart as a 1st teamer but I do think he will see plenty playing time.
I agree dubya. Upchurch has a pretty good role as a guy who can bust off 20 yard gains once we've worn out their defense. Ingram has earned a starting spot, IMO. It will be interesting to see which of the running backs ascends to a leadership position now that Coffee has gone.

Agreed, that is an excellent decription of Upchurch. And also you are right about Ingram, he has earned a starting spot. I hate that he missed spring practice though.
I expect T.R. will contribute in a major way this season. Cause keep in mind that I think our passing game will be a little improved which will help open up the run even more.
Texas or Texas A&M would be the likely choice. Texas would of course be my first choice but I could see ESPN hyping up Texas A&M just because of Coach Bryant.
I knew Trent would contribute early no matter what, but I'm not sure about him starting. It will definitely depend on how healthy Mark and Roy are come this fall. It really doesn't matter who starts honestly, it's who ever has the hot hand.

.
Won't be Texas A&M. The Hogs and A&M are starting an annual game this year at Texas Stadium. Its already guaranteed through 2012, and its probably going to be extended indefinitely.

Ah I forgot about that. Well that's good news, it could very well be Texas now.
Good luck with Texas. You may be able to get a home and home with them, but that's about it. We've been trying to renew the Texas series for years, they'll have none of it. We do play them again next season though.

No offense my hog friend but we're Alabama. They would be fools to pass up such a classic match up, especially in their own home-state. Of course because of the rivalry I'm sure most Arkansas fans think they already are fools.
