Given High Fives: 296 Rep Power: 1377 | The only problem I see with Bama is McElroy. Even the most talented quarterbacks struggle the first half of the season. The VT, Arkansas, and Ole Miss games could spell trouble if McElroy isn't playing at a high level with few turnovers. We all know how tough it is for a QB to step into the pocket for the first time especially against SEC defenses. Snead threw 6 interceptions in his first 2 games against good competition and he's about as purely talented as they come. But if McElroy can be efficient and the ground can be effective, Bama could get through his learning curve because the defense is one of the best in the nation. |
