I think we'd need a guy who can really make a splash to hold onto most of these guys. There are many reasons to play for UT, but most of our talent is coming from out of state and those guys won't take playing for a coach different from the one they committed to very lightly. I wouldn't mind a guy with NFL experience since most high-level recruits have aspirations of making it to the pros. There is a great list of coaches out there and I think Phil should get the axe regardless of the class. I simply don't see us catching up to UF, UGA, Bama, etc, with him at the helm. It's not like those guys aren't putting together superb classes as well.
