In effort to keep up with the latest technologies, we have converted the old forum driven frontpage of SEC Talk into an SEC Sports Blog. This may not bring a ton of new info to the frontpage, but if we do get rolling on news, info, etc, we'll be better equipped for it.
The frontpage is now driven by a blog engine that comes complete with a single post page, RSS Feeds, archives, and all the other cool things that blogs have to offer. There are some rough edges to sand down, but they will be taken care of. We also have a mobile version of both the frontpage and the forums now.
Instead of accepting comments like typical blogs do, I have the commenting system attached to the forums so that the sense of forum community is not lost.
With this, I hope to spawn some interest from the users to write for us. I am going to offer this opportunity up to our current staff 1st, and then take volunteers after that.
I hope this brings a new dimesion to the site that everyone can enjoy.
