Conference champs don't get the top 5 seeds, they just get in

Top team gets the number one seed

let's say that an 11 - 1 Bama misses the playoffs, their only loss being to an 11 - 1 Auburn

Auburn's only loss is to a 10 - 2 Georgia

In that scenario - UGA & Aubbie play a rematch for the SEC Championship and bama, misses the game but MIGHT be the number one seed in the playoffs

You're Mississippi State. You have to earn your respect the same way we do around here.

That's what I am thinking. Just who do you think you jump on this list?

Miss St
@ Tennessee
@ Mizzou
@ Louisville
@ Florida
South Carolina
@ Louisville

The Vols? MAYBE, but I am more concerned about a game with Tenn than Miss State.

I know there is a buzz about both MS schools this year, but I have to see it before I rank you any higher than PT did.

Your team has 'potential" to have a good year. Mizzou actually won the SEC E last year, not climbing there.

And no way in hell on any of the others. It's not even close, y'all would be a minimum 2 score underdog to EVERY other team on that list, and that is in Starkville.

How I would do it except I'd put the Vols ahead of A&M and UCF in front of Vandy and Arky. I may also move Toledo up ahead of Vandy due to it being a road game and their habit of giving good teams a tough time.

I might put UCF ahead of aTm & the Vols as well.

Since 2005:

Mizzou: 80 wins, 4 seasons with 10 wins or more.

Georgia Tech: 70 wins with 1 season with 10 wins or more.

We could basically sit out a whole season and they still probably wouldn't catch us for the wins in the past decade.

Also our SOS has always been much higher than theirs.

I do agree we are "new" to the good teams scene though.. last time we made noise my dad was 10 years old.

10 wins - meh

I mean, pretend you're still in the Big 12 and Ole Miss or MS State come over and win the North. you may be weary of them, but Kansas would still be higher on your priority list.
