Teams need to quit doing anything just to win.  The "just win, baby" mentality needs to just stop. There should be a set of moral standards to uphold instead of "well, maybe he'll act right". Lay down the law when they walk into the program and let them know this is the way WE will act and nothing less. ESPECIALLY taking thugs and assholes into your program that Posted Imageed up at other schools will do nothing but tear it down. I hope this week woke the athletic department up and they make sure that this Posted Image never  happens again.

We embarrassed ourselves this week and it Posted Imageing makes me sick.

I hear ya Crimson but never let somebody else's bad decision bother you too much. It's how things that are handled afterward that defines principles. As for bringing them in I do understand second chances. It's just their rope must be shorter.

True. BUT if playing an extra top tier opponent means an additional loss, then you are looking at a potential loss in money for going to a lesser bowl. Thats probably the wrong way to look at it though

(Of course UT got the bigger payout for a bowl over UGA too, so who knows)

Any game you play is a gamble but there needs to be the perception either team could win to get viewers. Kinda like Lsu vs mich st.
