Hope we still land Godwin, might be close between us and AU last minute. As we all know, money talks

I think hes ours. Nervous for sure though. Worried Carson may flip, but honestly the class isn't dependent on bringing in another RB

Yeah but IF this is all true, he'd be crazy not to appeal.  Even if he loses it's worth a shot.  How clear were they with him that this rule applied til after the Super Bowl instead of just his team's season?  That miscommunication won't save him from all punishment, but he'd have a chance to avoid losing a whole season.   Common sense says what he did was not a big deal, but obviously avoiding precedent usually takes common sense out of any decision making process.

Most importantly for him though, if this is all true he won't have any problem finding a job after the suspension if the Browns release him.  Not only will there be one team willing to give him a chance, there will probably be several.  He won't get a full-value deal for his talent, but creating a bidding war should help recoup some of what his reputation costs him.

Yea. He certainly made a world of trouble for himself, but if what he says is 100 percent accurate and it was a drink on a plane...that is pretty nuts to me. Especially since alcohol is a HUGE part of football. Hell, the commercials i see Sunday are gonna make me buy a Bud product...which i hate.

Yea hes a proven talent, but no good to any team on the bench. Hes got years and years of having a clean nose to help dim the negative light.

But hell Brandon Marshall did it somewhat...so there is hope for the kid.

Has Flawduh really lost any recruits since the coaching change or has this class been smaller from the get go?
