I dont know why everyone keeps celebrating this.  Not like his name was Tabor or Hargraves III.

Id celebrate if the got arrested for impersonating children, trying to trick or treat on Oct 30th and sat in jail for the weekend.  Then got released Monday =)

As an aside.... what role do you believe the sensationalist media and opportunistic politicians play in the increase of mass shootings?  I have a feeling if we didn't make every mass shooter and his weapon of choice famous and politicize them as much, we'd see a decline.  I'd be willing to bet that infamy plays a role in all of these shooters deciding to commit these acts of violence.

Another aside.... 50 people probably got shot and died in Chicago's "gun free utopia" while I typed this post.  But they weren't "Mass shootings" (or fully auto, clip belt fed, machine gun uzi bazooka armor piercing military grade weapons)... (or racially motivated, supposedly).... so they don't get coverage by the media or politicians.

Gun control works!!!!

Oh yeah, in schools I agree.

What if there aren't any qualified teachers in that school -  not an insane thought in parts of America - does that school go without security?

IF there are not qualified teachers then the resources need to be acquired by the school to have some sort of security measures.  Not every school can have 5 former marines trained to kill with their pinky...but anything like 1 armed security guard thats paid 40k a year is better than nothing. Its at minimal a deterrent.

College campus's should allow students to carry. They are smart enough to learn rocket science, for those legally application, they should be able to carry their weapons concealed.

Idk if I'd say there are "fewer guns" in school-areas.

Compared to heavily rural areas - Vermont, Mississippi - sure, I agree with that. But in comparison to most urban areas I wouldn't say there is a substantial difference.

If you want school security, perhaps hire security personnel who are trained heavily with guns. Not arming school teachers, I've seen too many batPosted Image crazy teachers in my day...

By school areas i mean IN schools. Most teachers cannot carry in grade schools, limited security if any along with colleges who do not allow the legal CCW holders to carry in school.  To anyone who wishes to harm  a lot of people, quickly, with least interference, a school seems plausible.

We can agree on that. However im saying train and arm qualified teachers. Not just pass out Glocks along with their orientation packets
