My buddy, Randy Vidrine, does know your friend, Steve Slocum. See below. Jimmy, I do know CSM (Ret.) Steve Slocum. I have known him through all of the years of being in the 82nd Association and going to "All American Week" in May and the Conventions in August (which I did not go to this year). He was the 2nd Battalion 325th's CSM. This was my old unit and was the unit I served with in combat in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1965. I also remember when he was the Division's Command Sergeant Major. I can't remember who the Commanding General was when he was CSM. He is a very fine fellow and a great American soldier and patriot. If you see him tell him that I said hello. I trust you have seen the August newsletter that I sent out and also have gotten your Paraglide magazine. Thanks, Randy
