In honor of the upcoming Kentucky Derby....

In 1973 Secretariat ran every quarter mile in the KY Derby faster than the previous.  He was moving faster at the end of the race and still holds the Derby record 1:59 2/5 seconds (mile and a quarter).

Secretariat had a heart nearly twice as big as other horses at 22lbs.  He was literally a freak of nature.

Secretariat won the Belmont Stakes by a record 31 lengths over his stable mate Sham and three other rivals.

Man-O-War finished his career 20-1 with his only loss (2nd place) coming to a horse named "Upset".  He did not run in the KY Derby but did win the Preakness and Belmont.

Every horses birthday is January 1.

What's the deal with the last fact? Why is this? I don't know Posted Image about horses.

Why join Nike and not be a priority when you can be with Adidas?

Because Adidas is trash. Look no further than those hideous warmups.

Those jerseys were an abomination even without the subliminal message.

Personally I don't care either way what they do with it... people can just grow it so... big business and taxes could be undercut with it. I think that's the main problem the government and business has had with it. I won't use it even if legal, so I really don't care.

You can brew your own beer too, but the convenience factor overrides your desire to.

Not quite 30 but nonetheless

This is where I read it.

It says reportedly though, so I'm not sure how accurate it is.
