Played our 3rd straight game to open the season against a tournament team from last year. Now 2-1 after winning 105-80.

First time we scored 100 since 2003 and we did it without our most talented scorer.

2003 just also happens to be the last time we made the tournament and the last time we had a player drafted.

Wouldn't be fun if we agreed on it all though, right? All of those game tying and go aheads, but aren't isn't it all counterproductive by his bad decision making and 5 losses as a starter?

Auburn would be in Bama's position now if Blake Sims ran that offense, in my opinion of course.
I don't know about bad decision making. He has 7 Ints in his last 20 games and 3 of those were tipped at the LOS. Only 4 based on bad decisions. Very rarely does he ever make a mistake in an option play. I think we'd be in about the same spot with Sims at QB.

Two big 3rd down running conversions on a drive in the 4th against State, not his arm though.

Wait...this is no fun...
I'm conceding and you still want to prove he's better in every facet haha. Nick has 7 game winning or game tying TD drives in the 4th quarter in only 22 starts. That's not including the fact that he technically had 2 go ahead 4th quarter TD drives against A&M in 2013.

Includes 6 drives where a FG would have tied or won the game and he scored a TD anyway.

I actually agree. Blake has a much quicker, more fundamental release which obviously leads to more consistent accuracy (Which is honestly partly part of Kiffin's tutelage). I've also seen nothing that leads me to believe that he couldn't run our offense to perfection.

Only thing I could give the edge to Nick on right now is he has a ton of game winning and game tying drives in he spots. Blake has the FG against LSU but no big moments. Threw a bad pick in another chance he had.

I'd do the same.
