I'll probably try some Monday evening. Tonight it's Kraken on the rocks and a slab of applewood smoked baby back ribs.

Boulevard Single Wide IPA is a favorite summer brew of mine.  You can't go wrong with anything from them

Where are they out of?  I'm an IPA man through and through so if I can find it here I'll give it a shot.

You guys have any local brews in Arkansas that are worth checking out while we're talking about this stuff?

Diamond Bear is decent here.  Core brewery in NWA makes a damn fine stout.

I'll look for them here.  When I saw your post it made me think about whether or not I'd ever had something from Arkansas.  Couldn't recall a brewery I'd ever tried. I figure every state has to have a signature local beer/brewery.

Moonshine tastes like how I'd imagine battery acid or gasoline to taste. How and why people go so out of their way for it, I will never understand.

Social sitting around drink homemade apple cider

Guys only hangout drink homemade shine

Out in public good blended scotch in water

If no good scotch is available then the best single malt available

Margaritas if Mexican food

If wine either a good rislin or south African cape wine.

I've had Kentucky moonshine, I've had Tennessee moonshine.  West Virginia moonshine, and North Carolina moonshine.

Does it qualify if it's distilled in a holler anywhere outside of these 4 states?  Virginia may be an acceptable answer.

There is a guy that sells it in Chatsworth Ga that gets it from Ranger Ga that makes some damn fine shine. He ran a batch of honeydew melon flavored shine that I have never gotten close to right. Just sweet enough to allow a grown non gay man to still be able to drink. I had 3 gallons of it last fall and it was gone quick.

I'm gonna check out the Superior Bathhouse Brewery soon, and I'll let you guys know what's up. They already have local microbrews on tap, and the restaurant and tasting room are open.
