I looked but couldn't find a thread like this one and I feel like we need one like this around here for everybody to expand their horizons and possibly get drunker than ever...

here we go:
Buffalo Trace on the rocks with a splash of water or diet coke depending on what i am feeling...10/10...it is my go to drink..

Pendleton Blended Canadian Whiskey...0/10...the guys at the liquor store suggested it, i liked the bottle, so i tried it...smells like freaking gasoline and i even tried mixing it with ginger ale, sprite, and diet coke and i still could get a good taste out of any of them...

Blue Moon Winter Abbey Ale...7/10...had a little bit of a different bite than i was expecting but it was pretty good...

gonna try some new whiskey and beer this weekend at the grandparent's house...

Oh man... When I get done working 15 hour work days after Saturday get ready for a lot of Kentucky bourbon and Tennessee whiskey reviews.

Buffalo Trace is almost too good....ALMOST I said.

Gunna try something new this weekend?

May I suggest Bulliett Bourbon, Eagle Rare Bourbon or Jim Beam Devils Cut.  All delicious.

Whiskey is best on the rocks.   Some men cant handle it. I have some woodford reserve and its the type of whiskey that you dont use mixers with.

If you need something sweet  try a  honey mixed whiskey.  These are easier to drink on the rocks. Jack makes some and a few other brands have them.   If anything dont buy a big bottle  buy some "to go" bottles and try different ones.

You typically have to breath in after a swallow to get the full taste of the whiskey.   Let it sit in your mouth for a little and taste all the flavors.  It might surprise you

Balvenie Doublewood is some great Scotch.  Love it.

Best drink ever alert:

3/4 King Cobra 1/4 Four Loco:  Four Lobra.  Talk about really getting drunk.

Also made a game up called "Hibernation".  Drinking two king cobras in a 40 min span.  You'll find out where it got its name from.

Pendleton Reserve is good stuff.  Better than Crown Royal by far if you're going Canadian.

Spaten Optimator is my favorite beer.  I have a fridge full of various Sam Adams and New Belgium stuff as well.

I'm not much of a hard liquor drinker unless it's cold.  Went through a bottle of Old Forrester at the LSU game.  This time of year I always take a bottle of Hot Damn to the golf course.

Moonshine

Moonshine tastes like how I'd imagine battery acid or gasoline to taste. How and why people go so out of their way for it, I will never understand.

A nice cold weather drink that I'll make for me and the wife is a hot buttered rum. Pour hot water over some cinnamon and cloves, mix in some brown sugar, 1 tbsp of butter, and a couple ounces of Gosling's dark rum. It's quite good.

Cosign.

My sister's boyfriend makes his own and it is absolutely awful everytime.
But that is how it is supposed to taste.
I imagine drinking rubbing alcohol might taste just as good.

my dad likes the american honey whiskey and i drink it sometimes when we're hanging out ...tried some barenjager honey liqueur the other day that was suggested by the liquor store guy...it was way too sweet for me...almost like syrup...
