That may be better than Mizzou's current recruiting class.

What is going on over there?
I know y'all weren't a powerhouse at recruiting before but I thought I remembered a few Top25 classes?

That was when we actually went to bowl games. We had a lot of people decommit but they most of them still have Mizzou high at the list. We also have a couple more pretty good recruits interested in Mizzou. We should end up with a decent recruiting class just not one by SEC standards.

Dixie County CB Duke Dawson committed to the Gators today over F$U!

Marcell Harris is his first cousin.

He wasn't committed for very long.
Probably got caught up in the hype that day- he was our 3rd of 4 that day I think.

I assume we stopped recruiting him after that as we still had a lot of "better" guys still on our board and a lot of time.
I know he's only a 3*, but so was Antonio Morrison and Luiches Purifoy and they have contributed a LOT so far.
Muschamp and Quinn know who to go after on defense.

I love how Joker Phillips is recruiting guys at Florida that he'd never even glance at while being a HC here. What a :lanekiffin: ing asshole.
I hope Stoops starts taken recruits right out from under UF and F$U. :)

Wouldn't hold my breath.
He wasn't the greatest recruiter at FSU.

By UK standards he's a great recruiter. We already have the best recruiting class we've had in a long long time. Very impressive he's getting recruits from both Florida and Ohio.

Didn't he have all americans at F$U? How could that defense be what it was without good recruits. ACC standards of course.

I mean that he was the fourth or fifth best recruiter on the staff.
He is much better at coaching than he is at recruiting, not that he is bad at it.
I think they had one AA defense end out of high school and they legitimately ended this year with three.

We got lucky with Christian Miller. His dad was Corey Miller a former South Carolina alum and NFL Linebacker, and he played for Lawing while at SC. It was said that the younger Miller was encouraged by his dad to go to Florida because of Lawing. When asked who he models his game after Miller immediately replied Jarvis Jones. After looking at the tape on this kid I can see it.

News is out that the Gators might flip 2 acc recruits, 1 from fsu and 1 from miami.

The kid from FSU, J.C. Jackson, is listed as an Athlete who can play either the corner or WR spot. He's looked on as about a 4 star recruit and he really like his visit to Gainesville for the junior day.

The Miami recruit, Travis Rudolph, is a 6'0, 180 pound guy who reminds me a ton of chris rainey (skillset wise at least, hopefully none of the off the field issues). Looking at some tape he can play either the slot wide receiver spot, or a speed back. His career stats include 1,275 rushing yards with 20 td's, and 1,842 receiver yards, and 23 td's. Really really versatile.

For those Gators who remember the heart break that was recruiting Stefon Diggs there is hope for another. 2014 Prospect Trevon Diggs, the brother of Stefon recently had an interview with 247 Sports.

"Diggs mainly lined up at cornerback during this weekend, but he was able to haul in 37 catches for 769 yards and seven touchdowns this past season. So what side of the ball does he want to play?

“I can’t decide between corner and receiver. I’ll decide eventually.”

While the recruiting process has yet to truly begin for the younger Diggs, he has an early idea of where he would like to go.
“Florida, basically down south,” he said. “It’s hot, I like it hot and I like the speed.”

This weekend was not Diggs’ first trip to the state of Florida. He made his way to Gainesville during his brother’s official visit last winter.
“I talked Muschamp when my brother went down there for a visit. It was fun, really fun.”

Trevon says his brother has not spoken to him about attending Maryland, but he has passed on some advice when dealing with the recruiting process."
