My farm is about 60% planted pines and 40% bottomland hardwoods.  Our pines are about 8 yrs old and are getting to be perfect habitat for rabbits.  Hence why the rabbit to deer ratio has been literally 20:1 while I've been hunting so far this season.  Actually had 2 hounds ruin my hunt Saturday b/c they got loose on our property chasing rabbits.  I need to start taking a .22 with me to the stand b/c its nothing for me to see 8-10 rabbits if I'm sitting on a food plot in the afternoon.
