Holy crap. I drove by Commonwealth yesterday to see how it is progressing. From Alumni Dr you can hardly tell it's the same stadium. Damn I can't wait for football season

So what is the average expectation for Wildcat fans in 2015? Will they need to make a bowl, or will improvement be enough to keep things from warming up? If so how much improvement?

Most UK fans are talking bowl. We were really hurt last year by lack of depth. Finally, our starters are SEC caliber. The backups were not. It showed down the stretch in the later half of the schedule.  Stoops has done a good job bolstering the roster on the lines.  If you look at how God awful we played against Tennessee, you see my point. He even admitted in the post game presser we had nothing left in the tank. Buuuut, we had a bye week after UT and then played Louisville down to the wire.

UK Schedule:http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-15/sec/2015-kentucky-wildcats-football-schedule.php

Soooo, key games for Kentucky are:

@ Carolina - Week 2, on the road, we can't afford to Posted Image around. Lately UK-USC have had some damn good matchups.  Its a tough test to steal one on the road and I think Spurrier is going to rape and pillage the SEC this year. Y'all are my pick to win the East.  I'm hoping things aren't gelling in Week 2 and we steal one.

Florida - We got Posted Imageed over last year at the Swamp.  New coach plus a lot of pissed off vets, Kentucky will beat Florida this year.

Auburn - Thursday night game so the crowd will be extra rowdy considering its an off night from the usual.  Big Blue Madness will be that Friday and Keeneland will be running. The Bluegrass mojo will be in full effect.

Mississippi State - Kentucky actually fares better in Starkville than Lexington.  Dak is back so that's going to be a tough one this year. But, as this rivalry goes crazier things have happened.

Louisville - Because Posted Image Louisville.

So we have three gimmes, Vandy is going to suck again. That's four. Haven't beat Mizzouyet but its here so who knows. We play at Georgia don't think we get that one.  And Posted Image Tennessee. Let me say it again. Posted Image Tennessee.

I think bowl game is definitely expected of him....7-5 is realistic and still giving him time to improve on that.
