This thread is for people to discuss music, instruments, audiophile stuff, whatever you want. Tell us about some gear you got, some gear you want, etc.
I personally play guitar and a little piano.
Shit I got:
Gibson Sonex Deluxe
Dean MLX
Dean from Hell (Pantera fawking owns)
Peavey Patriot circa 1981
Samick (lol) Torino
Fender Newporter
Takamine F340
Washburn 12-string
Hondo Banjo
Epiphone Hofner rip-off bass
I'm a little short handed in the amp department
Marshall Lead 12
Peavey Rage 250
Marshall JCM-800 w/ cab (BEST FAWKING AMP OF ALL TIME)
Digitech 300 effects.
I mostly play harder rock/metal. Was really into Iron Maiden/Judas Priest for a while in high school but I've kinda calmed down since then. If you had to pinpoint a guitarist I sound most like it'd be either Ace Frehley or Buck Dharma from BÖC.
I'd post pics but idk how to do it directly from hard drive.

Sweet.... play guitar myself....
Got a vintage 72 Tele Deluxe and a 88 Strat.....
Last year I scored a fender coronado at a music fest in Nashville.
As far as amps go... I have a Vox AC30, Bad Cat Cougar 50, and a Dr. Z Maz Jr........ All are combos.
Way too many effect pedals to list.
HAHA Its obvious you play a little more hardcore music than I do.... I actually am in a U2 cover band until I can find another group of guys I enjoy jamming with and are more committed.

I have an Orange Paul Reed Smith PRS SE Santana sig model, a black Mexican Strat that I replaced the pickups with Fender Custom Texas Special pickups in, a Fender Hot Rod Deville 410 and an old Fender Twin that needs some work done on it. If playing the PRS through the Hot Rod Deville I can't turn the amp volume over 2 without it starting to sound like AC/DC, Fender amps and humbuckers don't jive apparently.

All these guitars are beautiful. I used to have a 76 blonde Strat, but now I have an acoustic Ovation. I play piano a little, but not great...When I do it is stuff like Beethoven and Liszt. Don't play much anymore. I am a better writer than I am a musician.

Lol I used to play all the time. But at one time in HS I was forced to choose football or music. Football was my first love so I chose it. Still have my saxophone though. Haven't played in a few years. If I ever find the time I might go out and buy a better one and might get back into playing seriously. I was really good at one time.

Can I join in?
Here's my favorite..my Warwick Corvette Double Buck..she plays like a beaut:

When I was gigging a had a really nice Hartke 6 x 10 cab setup...I've since sold it. Currently using an Ampeg BA300 to just screw around at my house. Been getting the hankering to up my wattage and get back out there and gig though.
I have a Dean Acoustic/Electric bass somewhere that hasn't seen the light of day in many moons as well as a Schecter 5-string that I seldom ever used. Just never had a real use for that low B....would rather have a high C. Give me Stanley Clarke's piccolo bass any day...talk about throw down time.
I also have a Tama Rockstar drumset. Sabian cymbals....honestly been awhile since I've set it up. Used to play through high school, started focusing more on bass my first failed attempt to get through UK.

"Johnny, we're going to kick your ass today." -UK Coach Fran Curci to UT Coach Johnny Majors before Curci's last game.
Final score....UK 21 - UT 10

I don't have enough rhythm to be a drummer
