Lol nice, what did you smoke on floppy top. Let me guess bUTch is going to bring the Orange Nation back to the glory days lol. Congrats on your first SEC win in like two years lol.

Butch doesn't have to bring us back to glory days to stay above Vanderbilt on a consistent basis. Last season is as good as it'll ever get for Vanderbilt. That's not trash talk, it's simply fact. Vanderbilt, even with a coach like Franklin(who I do think is a really good coach), can't do any better than barely finishing as a top 20 recruiting class, and any hope Vanderbilt had of taking over what little talent the state of Tennessee had has been ruined. Butch has already landed 5 of the top 10(including the #1) Tennessee recruits, compared to just two for Vanderbilt(and Vanderbilt's two are #9 and #10).

Derek Dooley may be the worst head coach in SEC history and still pulled in better recruiting classes than Vanderbilt. Again, not trash talk, simply fact.

Vanderbilt doesn't have the facilities, Vanderbilt doesn't have the fanbase, Vanderbilt doesn't have the stadium, Vanderbilt doesn't have the national draw, and Vanderbilt isn't even close to Tennessee as an NFL pipeline, even with the down years Tennessee has had.

If Vanderbilt is to EVER get up to Tennessee's level as a whole, it's going to take a ton of money to pour in to upgrades.

This is true, but we are working on it.

Need to work on it faster, especially if they want to keep Franklin. Vanderbilt needs to do everything in it's power not to let him get away. He's not Nick Saban by any means, but until Vandy gets some significant upgrades, he's the closest they can get. Consistently go to bowls, pull an upset or two every year, and fans will eventually start to come in(and thus, money will come in).

Appricate the feedback Vandy is trying and Franklin wants what is best for Vandy. We won't be the cellar anymore.  We got the money and Franklin is putting it to work. It might be a while but it's coming.

Vandyandy, sounds like Andy Bernard or something, even though he went to Cornell.

Welcome

By definition, if Vandy can do it, it isn't worth mentioning

Was it ever? Vandy has 5 wins since 1960 over UT. Vandy now has 6 wins over UGA in that time frame, 3 against UF in the same time frame, hell Vandy is 17-35 against UK. Has there ever been a year when Vandy could ever consider an SEC game a win.

I think what he meant was it is not one sided like it used to be, it is a toss up game, and no vandy fan would be shocked with a win over a Tennessee team who hasn't won a bowl in years.

It used to be Tenn would have to beat Vandy and Kentucky to get to the SEC championship. Now you have to do it to get to a bowl game! So how much better is Tenn than Vandy?
