Yeah...that opening game just got ridiculously interesting.  Football in Kentucky has stepped up big time this offseason.

Your right....kinda, UK is finally gettin it,  they have a top notch coaching staff in place and are committed to putting the money behind the program and facilities. They just made Neil Brown possibly the highest paid Coordinator in the SEC, a school that doesn't care and doesn't want to climb from the cellar doesn't make the commitments they are making right now.

They have a HC who wants to be here and he has put together an excellent staff with some excellent recruiters. They have to prove they've come to play but I believe they will, the fan base is pumped and football is getting more talk and press than baskeyball....friggin bout time, folks are wanting the season to start right now, I've not seen the fan base this fired up and united in years. Keep in my that until 3 yrs ago for 10 straight seasons we were in the top 25 in attendance, we've got fans that are starving for aa winner.

Tells you how desperate Petrino was.........NO SEC schools would touch him, I actually thought UT would after they got turned down by almost every girl at the dance.....he was nearly the last one standing other than Jones.

well, to be fair, that kind of money does buy lots of motorcycles and would leave him with enough expendable cash to sway a coed or twenty.

Their 5 million will be the 5 minutes of fame they'll receive, along with some decent recruits and system set up for some lucky bastard to run.

yeah, because stepping in and running "the system" worked out so well for john L Smith...

Goes without saying a chimp or better should be left with it, little disclaimer there. John L was shit out of luck.
