He will have a hard time proving self-defense.  I think the state can prove his guilt.

Better now?

words are powerful, they have meaning.

the fact that your 1st response was that he would "have a hard time proving his innocence" is something that I would find alarming coming out of the mouth of any officer of the courts...

I was referring to his claim of self-defense... that he would have a hard time proving self-defense.  And it wasn't my first response, I had responded a couple of times before posting that comment.

But yeah... I don't know why I phrased it like that.

The problem with Zimmerman is that even if he was physically attacked first, the state may successfully prove that Zimmerman was the instigator by following and confronting Martin.  If Zimmerman instigated the confrontation, he cannot then claim self defense when he fatally shoots the person he was confronting.

I haven't been following the case too intensely, but the only evidence I've seen is Zimmerman's testimony, and pictures of Zimmerman's wounds.  So far, I think Zimmerman has a losing case.

You paint yourself into a corner way too easy. I hope you're in business law (if you're even going to be a lawyer)
"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

Are you mad because I'm not defending your hero?

No, I'm not "made" at anything and if you had read anything I've written you'd know I don't consider him a hero. Lashing out much ?
