ed our team up in a gigantic way in 2011 and 2012. You look at Gus's history and his offense has never been outside of the top 17 since his first year, which was still in the top 30. I have no doubts that Auburn's offense will be a top 30 offense next year and I wouldn't be surprised if we're a top 20 offense.

I kept failing a math test at the University of Alabama because every time I added 5+3 I got 8 and they kept insisting that the right answer was 14.

Yeah no doubt the numbers in 2011 were a band aid for our terrible "bend and then break really badly" defense. Hopefully all the experience the O-line got this year with all the changes throughout the season will pay off. I still say it won't matter a hill of beans how many points we score if we don't learn to d@mn tackle on D. Points are great but if you can't stop the other team you can't beat many of the good ones.

Agree, we have GOT to tackle. The Ellis Johnson hire is a fantastic hire. His teams at USC were always prepared and never missed tackles. We don't need to do anything fancy, let's just play some basic D, but TACKLE. Get our damn offense back on the field.

I will say one thing, I am looking forward to that agitated pointing to the ground thing he does after every first down! I love how into things he gets, shows how passionate he really is about the game.
