Why would we want Ellis Johnson? Been there, done that. We already have a DC who can't teach players to tackle or be in good position to make plays.

Actually if you look at it, the spread offense in the SEC is dying out.

Not really, it's just becoming assimilated.

Teams like LSU and Alabama run a LOT of spread during their games now. Especially on 3rd and 3+.

I know he laid out some straight up donkey doo-doo on the field as a HC. But he is a defensive coach, not an administrator like a normal HC is.

Lorenzo Ward did a pretty good job this year. But I still wish we had Ellis as the head honcho on defense.

I'm telling you, he's lost it. The game has passed him by. And he has too much ignorant pride to make the necessary adjustments to be competitive. He plays the game like its 2005, not 2012. A lot has changed. And his style is being taken advantage of.
